Pulse tops another “Best Internet Service Provider” list
PCMag has released its list of the Best Internet Service Providers in the Country for 2026, and Pulse has been named the top ISP in the Mountain Region. The recognition marks a significant milestone for the community-owned fiber network serving Loveland and Timnath. Pulse earned the regional title with a performance index above 9.0 in speed, price and reader satisfaction. The utility also ranked third nationally for Best Overall ISP despite its limited service area.
“Being included in the PCMag Reader’s Choice Awards earlier this year was an incredible honor,” said Fred Jacobs, public relations and brand engagement manager for Pulse. “To now be named the best ISP in the Mountain Region reinforces what our community has built – reliable, affordable fiber internet that puts people first.”
Jacobs said the company’s mission continues to be shaped by the needs of local residents. “Pulse was established to address all of the things that were frustrating residents from their existing ISPs,” he said. “We get calls and see many comments on social media telling others that Pulse is the best solution in our area and to be wary of offers that seem too good to be true or that lack local servicing on both the front and back ends. It means a lot to us that our customers are advocating for us at every turn.”
Municipal broadband providers like Pulse increasingly show why community-owned networks remain a strong choice for internet service. Public utilities are driven by accountability to residents, long-term investment in infrastructure and service-focused priorities rather than shareholder returns. That model often leads to more reliable service, transparent pricing and greater overall value for customers.
